From January 20 to the 22nd, members of SPS attended the Conference of Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) hosted by the University of Iowa's Department of Physics and Astronomy.

Two students in the club presented their research at the poster session. Susanne Byrd presented a poster on her research on Mars' Induced Magnetic Field. Mary Haag presented a poster on her research assembly automation and quality control of CMS Outer Tracker Modules.

Members enjoyed going to all the panels and hearing the keynote speakers talk about their experiences as women in the field. They also preformed demonstrations led by Dale Stille.
